Decisive Battle (帝都決戦, Teito Kessen) is the 72nd episode of the D.Gray-man (Manga) anime adaptation.
Summary[]
The Millennium Earl merges thousands of akuma into a single large one. Lavi engages in a fight with Tyki whilst the rest of the group fight the giant akuma.
The Millennium Earl tells the clan about a Noah who betrayed them and taught his apprentice how to control the arc, which is why the kill anyone connected with him. Believing the most likely candidate to be General Cross, the twins head out to kill him.
Lavi's group launch their counter-attack against the giant akuma, however the attack proves fatal to Chomesuke.
